Grown on our terroir for a very long time, Gamay generally produces light, easy-to-drink wines. Thanks to yields kept voluntarily low, this wine is astonishingly vivacious. It is also very full-bodied with spicy nuances. Fermented in the finest barrels, it takes on subtle aromas. The tannin is devoid of aggressiveness and remarkably elegant.
The 2003 Gamay was judged the best in Switzerland in 2005. This delighted me because every winegrower hopes for such an honour in his lifetime.
